It’s back to school and back into the swing of things, but weekends can be long so we want to share a fun DIY project for you to do with your kiddos!. This is a great project for all ages and one of our favorites at Gathered Goods.Read More
A few weeks ago Minneapolis hosted the Pinners Conference for the first time and we got to be a part to it. It was real life Pinterest come to life. There were classes and make and takes and lots and lots of shopping!
We had our Bracelet Bar and tons of new charms. so many people came by the booth and made beaded bracelets and fund charm bangles and necklaces. We even stopped by some of the other vendors and got new charms to have in the store. We love meeting people at events and being able to get their products into the shop, supporting each other is one of the hallmarks of who we are and why we do what we do.
There were a ton of classes happening on everything from sewing, to blogging and everything in between. We were close to the Impress Art booth and they were kind enough to give us supplies to do personalized initial charms at our booth (class details coming soon!).
We also joined one of their class and have some fun new projects to bring to the shop including their textured bangle bracelets (apologizing to our neighbors now for the noise!)
All in all we had a great experience at the Pinners Conference and can't wait for it to come back. A special thank you to everyone who helped us at the shop while we were at the conference and those of you who stopped in both to the store and Pinners! We love you guys and appreciate you all!
We are looking forward to bringing you guys some fun new classes soon!
Until then, happy crafting!
XO - Tara
When I turned six I am pretty sure I went to Chuck E. Cheese for my birthday. We played games, ate cake and opened gifts.
Among the many ladies nights and workshops we have done, there have been a few birthday and private parties too and we have loved celebrating milestones and get togethers with you.
Of all the celebrations we have hosted, one stands out in particular.Read More
Hi all! Welcome to our blog! A space for us to talk about the happenings of the store, DIY projects, our artisans and whatever else strikes us every now and then.
If you have shopped with us before, then you know that we have over 45 local MN artisans in the store, stylish clothing and a DIY/craft area where we can usually be found working away on something.
Our goal is to have a little bit for everyone. Hidden treasures in every corner of the store. Clothing chosen from both Nicole and I, merging our styles and reaching all fashion trends. A bright and cheerful space where people walk in and feel welcome to stay as long as they like.
We are so proud of each of our artisans and love to showcase them and talk about them in the store, so be sure to ask us about all of the unique products and the hands behind them. Not to mention the ever growing list of classes and workshops that continue to fill up! We love meeting new people and learning new skills with each and everyone of you!
I look forward to being able to devote some weekly time to writing and sharing with you all what is happening at the store and beyond!
XO Tara and Nicole
