In this class you will learn about the importance of gratitude and how it can change your life. It is our hope that when you come to this class you will learn about this healthy, life changing habit, as well as create two Gratitude Jars to put the practice in action! You will make one to keep and one to give. Each Gratitude Jar is made for celebrating those small (or big) things that we want to recognize in our life. This is what makes a Gratitude Jar a must have for anyone wanting to say “Thank You” and experience the joy it brings.
About the Instructor:
Shannon D’Arpino, MA has been a mindfulness educator and professional counselor for 14 years. As a therapist she has worked with individuals, couples and families to find joy and mindfulness in their everyday life. While developing her practice she continually educates herself in the science of joy and happiness. Over her years of practicing, she has encouraged her clients to adopt skills and healthy habits to become the best they can be. Based on research and practice she has witnessed the life changing effects it has on her clients and her own family. Most recently, she has taught in the Westonka school district teaching Mindfulness to students and creating educational presentations for parents and caregivers. Her current passion is educating and encouraging people to practice gratitude, grow kindness and share those practices with others with her unique Mindful products and education program, Mindful U.
